Anchors
Anchor plow
(CQR) is particularly suitable for sandy bottoms. Due to its horizontal pull, it immediately catches and gives a great restraining force. For grassy or gravelly bottom, it is less suitable.
Danforth Anchor
it is easy to store. However, it is not suitable for very grassy or gravelly soil.
Anchor to jas
suitable for all seabed. It is unwieldy because of its relatively large weight.
Anchor umbrella
it has legs that can be folded and secured against the anchor shaft. It is therefore suitable for smaller boats (yoles).
Footed anchor
articulated it is easily housed in the hawk, but is not suitable for sailboats because, when the boat is lying, it may drag in the water.
